What is an Eccentric Bottom Bracket?
All 8 Series frames include a Phil Wood Half Link Eccentric Shell. This bottom bracket allows you to easily tension or loosen your chain using an allen wrench. This is especially convinient if you need to fix a flat.

How long does it take to complete a Shorty Fatz frame?
Shorty Fatz frames are hand made so please expect a 4-6 week turnaround before Shipping & Handling.
Are Shorty Fatz frames compatible with ordinary Single Speed Parts?
Yes! There are a couple minor size differences, on the 8 Series the seatpost size is 29.2 mm, which we have in stock or can be ordered online or at many bike shops.
Other than that, you can rock various types 1 1/8" threadless forks, from carbon fiber to steel, at many different rake sizes as well.
